Our Campaigns

Divest for AR future

Little Rock Peace for Palestine is launching a statewide divestment campaign of Israel Bonds for the 2025 Legislative Session. This is part of a global strategy of nations, cities, universities, and faith communities to build economic and political pressure as a meaningful contribution to the Palestinian struggle to dismantle Israel’s apartheid regime. Currently, Arkansas' Treasury is holding $57 million in Israeli bonds. With $10 million purchased in October 2023. Arkansans deserve better. We deserve $57 million here at home for quality education, responsible business investment, and beneficial social programs. We will take on the Arkansas Legislature in January to fight for our future.

Little rock for ceasefire

Little Rock for Ceasefire was launched in February 2024 as a grassroots political campaign dedicated to advocating for peace and justice in Gaza by mobilizing the people of Little Rock to engage in meaningful dialogue and action with our local government to adopt permanent ceasefire resolutions. We worked with the Little Rock Board of Directors and Pulaski County Quorum Court providing sample resolutions to “Support Permanent Ceasefire and Prevent Further Loss of Life in the Middle East.” The campaign organized 3,500+ emails and calls to government officials and four different opportunities for public testimony. The campaign is currently re-evaluating its path forward in .
